Project Overview

The client was facing challenges with outdated CCTV systems and lack of real-time threat detection. Their security staff had to manually monitor hours of video footage, which was inefficient and delayed response time. I was hired to build a modern, AI-powered surveillance system that could identify suspicious activity in real-time.

My Role

I led the entire project from requirement analysis to deployment. I designed, developed, and integrated a live video analytics platform using modern web technologies and AI tools.

Stacks Used

  • React – built an interactive dashboard for real-time video monitoring and alert controls
  • Node.js & Express – implemented API services to manage event triggers and user roles
  • TensorFlow.js – used for on-browser object and anomaly detection from live camera feeds
  • Socket.IO – enabled instant alert push notifications for critical events
  • MongoDB – stored logs, user sessions, and analytics data for reporting
